Still looking through my photos from iphone to detect when I started walking a little further everyday to build up my endurance.

I set myself a visible goal: to get to a particular post for instance, within sight of where I had turned around the next day.  So it was very gradual and hence, doable.

I know at one point I began to take photos of the turn-around point though not finding them at the moment.

This photo taken with the help of the sun, indicating to me where I was along the familiar Powerline Road.

N.B. I've also added a couple of photos and captions to Day 13, Sept. 15, 2014.

I have added a photo to each of the posts for Day 26 -Sept. 28 and Day 28 - Sept. 30 as well as making the existing photos larger.

Now that my Christmas projects are over, I am hoping to get back to the blog and to get a blurb book underway of our walk.

Looking through my journals, I am not sure when I started prolonging my walks in order to train for this walk.  The first entry I have found noting that I am doing more than a 40 minute walk was on January 31, 2014.  " J'ai marché aller-retour jusqu'au ruisseau Fairchild *au chemin Powerline. Ça m'a pris qu'une heure et 45 minutes."

I can look back at my iphone photos as I remember taking photos at the turn around point.

Christmas Day, December 25, 2014

I have just updated Day 2, Sept. 4, 2014 by making the photos extra large and adding a photo of Pauline and I at the horticultural sign for Chambly, Québec.  On the first day we took a photo of Dean, Pauline and I as we started the walk.  When the first day's walk ended, Pauline and I had a photo taken of each of us for the record!  It felt like an accomplishment to have completed a day's walk.  Soon it would become routine to take a photo of Pauline and I together at the beginning and end of the day's walk.

The walk is not a memory.  My right foot has returned to 99% normal.  I need to make my daily walk a regular part of my day again.
